„Let’s be together” in Ełk – picnic with free mammography tests

On 30 May LUX MED Diagnostyka invites for free mammography tests to Ełk. During tenth All-Poland Family Festival „Let’s be together” we will test ladies at the range of National Breast Cancer Screening Programme and additionally at the range of project financed by Norway Grants (women at the age 40 – 49 and 70 – 75 years old). For the test financed byNorway Grants there is a doctors referral needed. Every woman, who wants to make a test in mobile mammography vehicle should register in our Call Center 58 666 24 44 or on the internet www.mammo.pl. Thanks to that we would have a possibility to make tests in comfort and on time.

The event is organized by Caritas Polska and will take place on the John Paul the Second Square. This is the biggest open air festival on occasion of Children’s Day in Poland – it gathers about 20 thousands of children. Organizers prepared a lot of attractions connected with health. There will be available:

  • Medical tent of Caritas with the possibility to make a blood pressure test, take advantage of dietician advice and get to know the first aid
  • The standpoint of Warmian – Masurian National Health Fund
  • The standpoint of Voivodeship Coordinating Centre of National Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer screening Programmes with the possibility to take part in self – testing the breast workshops

Besides medical points there are much more attractions for children and adults provided:

  • Performances of children and youth dance and drama groups
  • The corner of Kiddy
  • Dance workshops
  • Tents with the prizes and sport and educational championships
  • Free gifts and surprises for children
  • Firefighters and police performances
  • “Ekoludek” – educating children at the range of correct proceeding with worn out batteries
  • Missionary Avenue – conversations with missioners and getting to know different cultures
  • The final of campaign “kilometers of kindness” – the campaign consisted in collecting money and laying the coins in the stretch of “kilometers of kindness”
